This sample of pyroaurite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Pyroaurite is a carbonate mineral which contains magnesium and iron with the composition Mg₆Fe₂CO₃OH₁₆ .4H₂O. This sample is about 14x14 cm and originated in Langban Mine, Filipstad, Varmland, Sweden.
