CaZrBAl₉O₁₈

This sample of painite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Painite is a oxide mineral of zirconium and boron along with calcium and aluminum. It has the composition CaZrBAl₉O₁₈. The sample at left is 2.9 carats and is from Burma.
