Cu(UO₂)₂(PO₄)₂.8H₂O

This sample of metatorbernite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Metatorbernite is a phosphate mineral of uranium and copper with the composition Cu(UO₂)₂(PO₄)₂.8H₂O. The sample at left is about 15 cm across and is from Shinkolobwe mine, Shaba, D. R. Congo.
