(K,Na)₃Na(SO₄)₂

This sample of aphthitalite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Aphthitalite is a sulfate mineral of potassium and sodium with the composition (K,Na)₃Na(SO₄)₂. The sample at left is about 12 cm across and is from Glom salt dome, Iran.
